A set of telegraph poles with the wires between them being represented by 4x tga textured 'sheets' of 8 wires, to keep the poly count as low as possible.
The poles are single, 8 arm models, with the spacing set as a default at 50 metres - which as far as I'm aware is roughly the average spacing that was used at the time. I'm reliably informed that the arms were located on he 'up' side of the routes - though I'm unsure why that was the case.
I've used this on my 60's modification of the DTG Huddersfield Line and I've noticed no difference in frame rates, although in fairness, the speed limit on that line during this period was a maximum 50mph... a Deltic on the ECML at 90 mph might be a different matter.
This is my first upload to Trainsimdev.com - I'm hoping it's useful, because I have literally dozens of industrial models, bridges and other items for upload that I've had to make for the above route. Many are specific to the actual locations, but could still be used on other routes.
