Non-RS Blender Projects

Non-RS Blender Projects

Postby VictoryWorks » Mon Apr 14, 2014 11:22 am

I hope it's ok, I wanted to add a thread that people could use to post non-TS blender images.
I tend to do a lot of tutorials and playing around with blender as a 3D package rather than just as a 3D train builder. It teaches new skills and techniques that invariably transfer over - I can now unwrap models 10 times faster than I used to - and is a nice distraction when I want to be creative rather than spending my evenings shooting things.

So without further ado, some mini-projects I've done recently - most of them using the new Cycles render engine.

That virtual pint is such a tease, it looks so real. Amazing work, and thanks for sharing these images, Pete. :)

That's not a virtual pint, surely :-)

Those barrels would be pretty good in TS, but I guess only when we have the TS "Millenium Falcon" edition because there's 40000 polys in each :-)

Some stunning work there. I was half way creating a new generic area for this post when I thought I might just be cluttering everything up with lot of subforums. What do you think? Do we need a generic forum with relevant subforums?

Sorry for bumping the thread but I thought it was worth posting :)

Stalybridge signal box lives again. Some parts are un-textured but I'm pleased with it so far.
