The current poly count is in the region of around 113,000 with very little optimisation done as of yet. I'm just going to go flat out and then do a massive clamp down at the end. A lot of extra polys are caused by the mesh smoothing of pipes and such and can easily be gotten rid of - though models with medium 6 figure poly counts are increasingly becoming the norm in TS, and will be even easier to tolerate in TS2, so I'm not too worried. I won't make it stupid, of course, but detail will be just as it should be. That's the goal anyway.
