Do you guys realise you are having a Blender Character animation discussion in a 3D Crafter section of the forum? It's not that I mind at all you understand, but I'm just thinking the person with all the answers to blender character animation could miss it here. ;)

That is actually a very good point Brian.

However, I am just awaiting more of your brickwork. I have one of the clocktower shots on my desktop.

Thanks for the point. I for one did not realise it.

On the up-side, a few Bender users might have wetted their appetite for 3DCrafter that way. :?

It's just about done now, the rest of the building was a little too complicated for my skill level. But luckily you can only see the tower from the tracks ;)

Very nice ! - level of detail obviously meets with my approval ! :) - Have you tried seeing what can be achieved with bump mapping instead of using polygons to achieve the corrugation ? - might be worth a few experiments ?

Cheers

I haven't tried anything with bump maps Paul, that's a good point, how do I do it? It was a discussion with Keith yesterday that resulted in me trying to model corrugated iron. I think Chris has tried bump maps I will have to ask him what he did.
