Double Decker Bus

Just over 2 years since I was struggling to get a cube into Railworks Darren, I'm a pensioner now, it doesn't get any easier to learn new things as you get older. I think I started to do this modelling lark a bit late in life. I don't think I will ever get to make a drivable steam loco Pete, but you never know. :)

By the way, I have a London Transport version on the go to.

Perfectly reasonable to have the same model in Midland General and London Transport liveries as the first batch of RLHs were actually diverted from Midland General, which is why the earliest RLHs had chrome radiators contrary to LT practice.

@Vern: I loved United's Bristol REs! I lived near Whitley Bay in the early 80s and commuted each evening from Haymarket in the city centre to Shiremoor. By far the fastest way to get home was the Tyneside Metro but I'd always have a sneak peek at the 355 service stand. Mostly it would be down to to Metro but if United had put on one of its dual-purpose Bristol REs in red and white NBC livery, I'd always choose the musical comfort of the Bristol. I love the sound a Bristol RE makes, if the missus would let me have a second bus an RE would be top of the list.

Yes the LT RLH has proved very useful for reference, some detail differences but the basic bus is identical. There is an Ex Midland General survivor but unfortunately the last I heard it was in California. That would make a nice second bus for you Paul. :)

Well the models are finished Paul but I haven't done anything with them, they don't have any lighting. They were more of a personal project with no real regard to them being assets for TS2017, they are a bit overdone for scenery so I decided not to upload them anywhere, they may even cause frame rate issues. Also there are apparently no routes available where the London RLH versions would be seen in any case.

I'm very much looking for an asset of this quality for my 1960s London route. Desperately need a high quality red RT to pose as a 101 blinded for North Woolwich, East Ham & Wanstead Station. I can swap you some London bus stops, Brian :D
