A-Train 9 V3.0

Has anyone bought this yet by any chance? I'm guessing it's more unlikely given the normal price tag of £44.99!

However, as a long time user of A-Train, even though I still believe the original one to be the finest, I'm interested in any opinion. My last forays into the A-Train world were HX on the Xbox 360 and then A-Train 8 and I wasn't impressed with either so left A-Train 9 alone. But now there is 3.0, although I'm missing seeing a release of 2.0!

Any thoughts or information?

I struggled with A-Train 8, couldn't really get my head round the having to either make provision to build the towns and cities first, or taking over a part complete system. ISTR the interface wasn't that great either.

At £38 (discounted!) on Steam, a little rich for my tastes I'm afraid, will either wait for a price drop or see if there's a cheaper boxed edition. (Steam can be expensive - X-Rebirth is £39.99 on there, while the boxed version was going for £14.99 on Amazon).
