I was going to say that... except that I have found that sometimes (why only sometimes, I don't know...) if you make it front in 3DS = front of model, it's the wrong way round when exported into the game! :?

Your post has summoned the TS spirits. Exactly this has happened. Next time, please post this after seeing in-game, finished screenies  . We must not tempt the TS spirits.

I have used vanilla booleans. For all the "WOE YE WHO USETH BOOLEANS" talk, sometimes they're quite nifty, as long as you're prepared to do rigorous cleanup afterwards.

Hey! Let's try shoveling some coal into the firebox. Set up a control and presto. Goto TS2016:

  • Press R, nothing happens.
  • Well... Must've set up something wrong. Grab default black 5 xml's, copy the control value.
  • Go back to TS. Press R. Firmly. Nothing.
  • Okay... Must be that the shoveling rate is too low. Let's set it at a firm but fair rate.
  • Haha nope.
  • Whatever. Shoveling rate at chain gang level it is.
  • Nope.
  • Forced labour camp rate then?
  • Still nothing. Proceed to punch TS in the face repeatedly.
  • Open firebox doors, then start to shovel.

I'm sorry for punching you in the face TS, I should not have done that  . Sometimes you surprise me.

What is this 'automatic fireman' you speak of :P?

It just seems doing controls isn't my thing... I've just shouted for hours straight only to find the control sensitivity was a ridiculously low value...

The fireman which people use when they don't know how to fire :) Otto we call him, never known why... ( its in a option in the options menu ). Basically he locks out the firedoor/firing/injector/blower controls from the player and "tries" to manipulate them himself but often doesn't do a great job. It can be quite annoying when if you've been testing something with it and you forget to unchecked it, then spend 5 minutes wondering why you can't open the fire hole doors or turn the injectors on (I may have done that once  )
