TANE/Trainz on Steam Sale 13/10/2017
Posted: Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:11 amJust a quick heads up that TANE/Trainz is currently £6 for anyone interested.
Just be aware that the current Steam version, essentially N3V's Service Pack 2 (SP2) introduced many issues and problems which were not present in the previous fairly stable version SP1 HF4. That included breaking things like third party textures and assets essentially midway through the game life-cycle, then blaming the authors despite it being N3V making the changes! Currently N3V still working on their hotfix, there have been several announcements they have a release candidate but reading their official forum still throwing up bugs.
In the not too distant future it looks as if TANE will be replaced by "Next" or TS2018 whatever they decide to call it, at which point support for TANE will drop away.
