HI.

This looks very promising and I look forward to seeing it develop.

My setup is becoming a little outdated now but it still runs ok.

i5-3570 @ 3.40Ghz
8Gb RAM
Radeon HD 6900
Windows 10 64bit

Just for information. Version 2 ran without a hitch but I've downloaded version 4 and for some reason the E key won't open the door. Not sure if this is down to my system or a small bug.

Look forward to future updates

Regards

Andy

Downloaded the latest demo, absolutely love it. I'm running on a 1 x 3 monitor set-up at 5760 x 1080, so quite demanding. But with a GTX 980 Ti graphics card I'm not seeing any frame rate issues, and I haven't had the issue with sound ending before the train has gone. The only minor glitch is scaling - the FOV is pretty telephoto as I think it's not adjusting for the wide aspect ratio.

Just a suggestion, rather than a comment - I don't recall seeing tail lights, and checking that a train has a tail light is part of the job. Perhaps it might be possible to throw in a very occasional train without one to prompt a 'stop and examine' code?

Keep up the good work

Hi Paul

Do you have TRue across all 3 screens ?
I run the same card across 3 1920x1200 screens but only have the one screen showing TRue, perhaps because I run as an extended desktop mode.

As mentioned the graphics load is reasonably light as the scene is pretty basic, but the physics calcs are likely to be the limiting factor, but as the physics can be run on the GPU (nvidia)
I see more scope for this toincrease over the project lifetime.

If you are running it across all 3 screens let me know your setup, I would like to try and have a go at the scaling for you.

Yep there are Tail Lamps, although I noticed UE4 was fading them out pretty quickly , will be set for greater view distance next release.

I have a piece of coding that checks your line of sight to the tailamp, not active at the moment but could be a points deduction for failing.

Thanks for the feedback and comments, I have more interesting stuff coming up very soon.

Cheers

Yes, pressing Alt + Enter puts me straight into 5760 x 1080 full screen mode with no fiddling.

GTX 980 Ti, set up on three monitors, the 'span displays with Surround' box is checked in the Nvidia control panel.

Thank you for the opportunity to download the demo.

Windows 10
AMD FX-8300 Eight core
12GB Ram
AMD RADEON RX 480 8GB

Thoroughly impressed with the demo so far, runs nice and smooth for me. Particularly liking the textures on the signal box and shed - real attention to detail that adds to the atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing how this develops and good luck with it :D

I've just downloaded the demo and love it! It works fine on my setup which is as follows:

Intel(R) Core 2 Quad Q8200 @2.33GHz
8Gb RAM
GeForce GTX 750Ti 4Gb
(no SSD)
Windows 7 64-bit

Some of the train textures are a little blurry/tearing and there's the tiniest amount of stuttering - certainly nothing I can't live with.

Thanks for making this available.
