How hard would it be to create the assets to take it to Moorgate? Make a few tunnel lofts, a few station models and then you could release it as a freeware pack maybe?
Or maybe Waggonz could do their own little thing like the Mersyside route (which I think is coming with the 508 and its AC/Dual friends?) and build the 3 mile extension? I think coming out of tunnels onto the ECMLS would be great, and even better if RSC finish the Hertford Loop...

I tried that bit myself out of boredom, but it seems that RSC have set up the area around the Emirates stadium so that the assets (tunnels etc.) can't be selected or modified. It makes life way harder than it needs to be, and given that the line beyond the tunnel is all new for the overground, it's more work to produce something decent than it lets on.

I do hope I'm thinking of the right line here and not mixing Moorgate up with somewhere else (the line joins the ECML before Finsbury Park from under the Arsenal stadium right? :? ).

Have gotten around to adding some more detail to the V2's cylinders, reshaping them in the process. I've also reshaped the counterweights on the wheels as they were of the wrong shape before.

Bit of an update; have started the boiler and firebox, need to finish off the smokebox as well as the cylinders and front buffer beam.

Incremental update: I've finished the firebox!

The shape of it is an absolute pain to create as its got chamfered edges everywhere.

I suppose there goes the simple shape, easy to build idea, or is this still easier than a diesel? :) It looks like you've got the shape to a tee though, very nicely done indeed. Blasting it out of Kings Cross at some point down the line is going to be fun.

Great - I particularly like 47580. How easy is it to move the TOPS plate (and add a shed code sticker?) to below the number, rather than where it is at the moment? Would it have to be 'painted on' to the skin and therefore be of poor quality?
