Wartime austerity - but not under Churchill...

Postby JamesLit » Tue Sep 29, 2015 7:28 pm

Not under Churchill - no, under Hitler!

We're nearly there with this one now so I thought I'd show her off - being produced by my continental modeller is the BR52, which has entered the final stages of modelling.

Thanks Paul. He's understandably very proud of this one.

I've approached a publisher and with thanks to TSD's own Wolf, we are pushing forward with efforts to get people on board for sound and scripting. :)

No further progress yet but he's had the time to set it up in his gorgeous render environment. I love this setup!

I might just make you faint! Not with a high number, either, with a low one!

GET THIS!

140,000 including tender and fully modelled cab! :)

Man am I glad I am not the only weirdo in town.

Now we only need a route with an inspection pit and some scripted scenario that sends you down with a lamp, under whatever pretext.

Maybe you could modify a railfan scenario to become a jamboy scenario. :D

One note for the marketing department: Since it is a pity to paint all that black and put it on rails, you should consider a brass version. Just a bit of ambient occlusion plus the diffuse colour of the metal (go for gold if brass is to mundane, the material does not cost extra since it is just the same amount of bits), and some shine.

Of course, the images shown look great, too. I just thought that taking a little step towards brass look would make it a finished, separate end target. Like Pete's bogey with boiler from the steam car.
