Thanks both. I'm very proud of Lengyel's work, he's really going to help us make a name for ourselves. So will the publisher! :P

The interiors of parts that can't be seen will not be done. We have no info on them and there's no real need to model them to be honest. That said, there will be firebox and smokebox interiors etc as you will be able to see those.

A wartime loco needs a wartime wagon..... and the wartime wagon is also very, very close to having its first load. It's gonna be a big one. ;)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE SCREENSHOTS AND THEREFORE THE TEXTURES AND EFFECTS ETC ARE NOT SHOWN IN FULL QUALITY

More on the loco, and the loads, very shortly.

SSyms with its first very nearly completed load. The Tiger I still requires some slight modification to the turret front behind the gun mantlet and to the upper glacis to look right. It's also been poly optimised down to 20,000 from 30,000 since these renders with basically no quality loss.

Inspired by Pete's absolutely glorious tanks for the S160, we'd like to try the randomisation of camo and numbering he has done, hence no numbers yet!

Looks impressive all this. Are Tigers really that small? Almost a cute little tank. I remember something about them having to take the outer row of wheels off, for rail transport.

Believe me, having seen Tiger 131 in person, she is not small by any means!

They didn't remove the outer row of wheels as that would have been totally impractical and made the tracks unstable. Instead, to my knowledge, they actually had wholly different sets of tracks altogether. Thin ones for transport, where the weight was secure enough in place on board the wagon that it would be held sufficiently, and of course then the actual road-going tracks for normal use that were wide enough to bear the weight of the tank moving around in every direction (except backwards, for a number of years....) as it barrelled along... (see what I did there? I'll stop now... :D)

Anyway, thanks for your kind comments!

So, a lot has happened over the past couple of weeks or so and with the project barrelling along at such a rate, I felt it was finally time to start shouting from the rooftops properly.

For those of you on Facebook, feel free to share. ;)

For those of you who aren't:

DB/DR BR 52 PACK VOLUME ONE - OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Good evening all, I feel that with the progress we are making I am happy that we are now in a suitable position to formally announce our production of the BR 52 locomotive as our first DLC to be released.

The pack will be released through a well known third-party publisher and will take full advantage of the unique features they are able to offer us thanks to the extremely talented team that they have. More on that soon.

For now, however, I will reveal some screenshots and renders and let you know in short what to expect:
BR 52 locomotive in DR and DB liveries
Wannentender and Steifrahmentender
SSyms wagon
Military and domestic loads for the SSyms, including three military vehicles in a huge number of variations, modelled true to life, as well as girders and beams etc
Advanced scripted features for a realistic driving and firing experience created with and approved by crews of the real thing

Please bear in mind that the images below are all WIP and are largely screenshots or renders from the modelling software and so in those cases it is especially difficult to represent the current level of quality accurately. Aspects of the models and textures etc are still subject to completion and alteration to ensure they are as accurate and realistic as possible, and there are still further assets to be completed.

More to come soon. For now, I hope you enjoy what we have to show you.

That's terrific work. It isn't something I'm likely to buy as I have only a passing interest in non-UK railways but you deserve every success.
