Let's get back on the topic of ancient carriages. Over the last few days I've been busy with a set of non-corridor bogie stock. Most of these where built 1905-1920 by J.J. Beijnes of Haarlem, some being built by Werkspoor. These essentially wooden carriages survived into the mid fifties.

Here's a C10c (Lavatory third?). A total of 65 where built, numbered C861 - C926.

And here's a AB7c. There's 3 first class and 4 second class compartments. Am I the only one to find this colour scheme reminiscent of the Bavarian railways? The AB ligature is a nice quirk by the way :D.

Some of the carriages where fitted with a brake hut. Although the westinghouse air brake had become mandatory on passenger trains by this time, hand brakes where fitted on carriages intended for foreign traffic, as the Prussian state railways still demanded a certain number of handbrakes on each train. Air brakes or not.

How does this sound? First time I've really used Audacity so this is a unfamiliar territory. Pardon my driving.

Looks 100% like the outcome I dream to finally achieve one day, if I ever find time to even get started. On the other side of Jordan, or the other side of retirement or so.
