Ding ding!

The first of a long line of commission pieces for our third customer, M&GN Type 1A wooden signal boxes painstakingly modelled from reference photos and line drawings.

Very happy with these - Lengyel, our main 3D artist, is just fantastic.

Thats some very solid modeling! Care to share some of the stats like texture and poly budget? Or am I asking for company secrets (honest question!)?

No harm in asking whatsoever.

The main structure (everything sans windows and roof) textures are 2k, the bump maps for them are 2k also, the roof normal map is 2k but the diff is 1k, windows are 1k also.

Poly count is about 3800 for the versions with the stairs at a right angle, and just over 4000 with the steps coming straight outwards.
