This was a arm priority issues as well.

When there is but one distant arm for a junction, it really pays to give number 1 to the doll for which the distant clears.
But if 1 has to be the branch and 2 the main line then you can still make the distant arm DIST2 instead of DISTANT and it should work.

Yes, formally this is interesting but in game, the solution is just doing nothing. On the branch, the next signal after the Worgret Jcn home is the Corfe Castle distant, so the stop arm for the branch will feel like a section signal. For the mainline, there is another stop signal ahead, so the stop arm for the main line will feel like a home signal.
