I've gone from 'fit for firing' to 'full time fireman'. Does this mean I can fire those who are 'fit for firing'?

Nice. Simple yet a very effective detail.

Well the new PC was built ready for pick up this morning but my mum's went kapput so the new PC is heading that way in the morning. I was going to give her my old one, the one I'm on now, but it was easier to keep this one rather than go through moving all my work and files over.

Back to the route.

In anticipation for the new pc on Friday, the latest version of the route was uploaded this morning. No major changes apart from more scenery added at Barrow and Super Elevation(SE) being removed from Lindal to Dalton Junction.

The SE just didn't look right through the tight curves below Lindal Tunnel. The speed limit is only 40 anyway and, after testing, you don't get thrown about any more than with SE, probably because it was laid with easements.

How times have changed
From this
3828
To this
4107

Those that know the area, scenery is almost 80% done up to Lindal Sidings. I'm just about to summit the bank and plummet down the other side which means just under 2 miles to finish till the entrance to Dalton Tunnel.

Next port of call is finish all the lineside stuff to the eastern portal of Lindal Tunnel then go back and add field boundaries and houses away from the track.

Slight adjustment of track at Lindal. As I'm not using SE up there anymore it was a simple and easy thing to do to make it accurate to real life.

I just thought I'd post this here incase anyone notices a comment somewhere about lack of progress/updates on the route then you can let them know.
Due to a serious illness of a family member, building of the route has slowed to a crawl. I'm still able to get on TS2015 to have a play and try to relax, but having the patience to put the time in to build to a standard I'm happy with isn't happening at the moment. My apologies, hopefully things will pick up soon.

Regards

Phil

Sorry to hear that mate and absolutely no need to apologise. Just use TS to relax if you need, life has enough stress as it is.
