Stainmore and Eden Valley Route

Stainmore and Eden Valley Route

Postby SteamSoundsSupreme » Thu Apr 24, 2014 1:08 pm

As many of you will know, Steam Sounds Supreme are developing the Stainmore line for Train Simulator. The project is being shared between 5/6 people:

  • Ben Yates - Route Setup, initial build and 50% of scenery work
  • Phil Baines - Asset builder
  • Matt Walmsley(SSS) - Audio work and 50% scenery
  • Tom Homewood - Loco Builder
  • Rob and Tom(DT) - Loco Builder

We have a blog, which we update as regularly as possible: http://stainmorerouteproject.blogspot.co.uk

I'll post here when a new blog is posted and I'll try and provide pictures as we progress. It's also exciting to have 3 steam locomotives being built for the route. Tom Homewood is building us Ivatt's 2 and 4MT's and Digital Traction are building us an LNER J21! I'll also post updates of those projects, as and when I receive them from there respective builders. At the moment, the Ivatt 4 is at an advanced stage, as far as the model is concerned. Enjoy the below screenshots of how the project currently looks

Very nice :) How did you do that, At a guess you made it like a animated level crossing ??

The doors on the shed are essentially an animated signal, but all the kudos should go to AndiS and a script he released many moons ago.

Love the shed doors and it raises the bar for me to come up with something for the sheds at Grosmont.
