Carlton....Cudworth...... might as well add that little branch, the err..... Hull and Barnsley Railway :D Bwahaha !! :D

I'm intending to get the Hull & Barnsley in from Cudworth up to South Elmsall and around the Barnsley end as the NRM have kindly offered me a scan of the original gradient profile. It won't go any further than South Elmsall though as it was shut east of there in my route's era.

Thanks,just the one shot from today. Ignore the incorrect Black Five with overhead flashes,but here's 45428 preparing to depart Royston and Notton station with a Sheffield-Leeds service.

Hoping to get out on my bike in the next week to get down to Royston/Cudworth to collect some reference images.
