I was going to post my magic traction curve calculator but the damned thing is so complicated I barely understand it. I'd spend the next two years trying to explain it (and all the railworks bugs that it attempts to overcome) to everyone else

I have this evening been studying the physics of the Class 37/3's, so your gadget is certainly of interest.
