Not having all the windows lit at night makes it spot on for me. No hotel is ever full so having about half the rooms occupied seems perfect. Geat work, Brian.

Really cracking work Brian, very much looks the part. Reminds me of a building I saw in York on my travels, very grand !

Only thing I would say is the bricks look too big making the whole building appear smaller. Usually about 30 standard bricks is 8 foot. If your floors are 8 foot apart then I stand corrected

I've never stayed at the hotel but I don't think eight feet is too far out between floors. In modern houses ceilings are around seven feet high so add the depth of a floor and eight feet between windows is about right.

I must say that I did not count them before. Now I did and I found 24 to 25 per floor. For 8 ft room height and 1 ft ceiling width, which are both quite at the minimum, my guess would be 35 rows.

Never call me a rivet counter - there is so much else in the world to count.
I blame a certain modeller of a certain station for drawing me into this scene.
Now I suffer from chronic hypercountistics - or would that be countism?
