Since discovering how fun it is to play the game on full-on hardcore mode, with no HUDs whatsoever, I decided to have a romp along the WSR from Bishops to Crowcombe. The biggest challenge is that the firing is a complete guessing game, not knowing the firemass, having to keep a beady eye on the pressure gauge and act accordingly, sometimes a bit too late. 9351 is a mighty fine little loco, and at one point needed holding back even on an 8 coach train, which I would have thought was overloading it on the given gradients.
