Moving house today

Postby Nobkins » Fri Dec 19, 2014 6:55 am

Hey Everyone,

Today starts a weekend of moving house for me. The forum pretty much runs itself but if any uploads do occur then there is likely to be a 24 to 48 hour delay in them being approved (sorry). Anything else that needs my attention is likely to have the same slow response I am afraid.

With luck I should have Internet access sorted on Saturday so I will be able to check in when I can. I'm only moving from one side of Leeds to the other so not too stressful!

Cheers

Christmas and house move, two of the most stressful things for a human to do and you're looking them both in the eye and saying "I'll take ya both on"

Good luck Jim and see ya on the other side
I've gone from 'fit for firing' to 'full time fireman'. Does this mean I can fire those who are 'fit for firing'?

Hope it goes well mate.
Don't sweat over this place, even if it goes down for some reason we'll all survive. Just get yourself settled in.

I can't wish you the best of luck as there is not much luck in moving house at Christmas. So I wish you the least bad luck.

I hope you can get a few relaxing hours when the dust has settled.

Moving house at Christmas..... I know whose shoes I'd rather be in! But hey, that's just me, I mean, you can't always count on my opinion following the masses :P Hope it all goes smoothly Jim, see you on the other side! :)

Thanks guys for all the encouragement (I think! ;)).

In new house. Still got the garage in the old house to empty and sort through but that is for tomorrow.

Internet is all working thanks to Virgin. Very prompt and quick service.

Loving the new house and the kids think it is great. They put the xmas tree up this morning whilst I was loading up the van at the old house (only moved from one side of Leeds to the other).

Not only that I come on to TSD.com and find that there is a download courtesy of Buckeye waiting to be approved. Great stuff.

Now if I can just get past the Boxing day house warming where I am cooking for about 10 people then we will be home free!

Cheers everyone.
